The City of Bancroft is currently looking for a Street/Parks Superintendent. The city is seeking an experienced individual to lead the work relating to the maintenance and operations of the streets, storm water, parks and pool.

• Iowa Drivers license and CDL licensed required.
• Applicant will be required to obtain:
  • CPO Certification
  • Iowa Core Test
  • Roadway License
  • Turf License
  • Mosquito license
  • Water and Sewer License

The job consists of a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday; however, during systems disturbances and emergencies, longer hours may be required. Applicant must have the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in public contacts. The applicant must reside in the city limits of Bancroft or other location as approved by the city council. The successful candidate will have graduated from an accredited high school or General Equivalency Diploma, and have experience in construction, light, medium and heavy equipment operations or possess any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
